ABOUT ME

Originating from Bethnal Green in the East End of London I played football in UK as a Junior and Youth Player before migrating to Australia. In Australia I played Senior Football at State League Level as a forward, winning many Best and Fairest Awards, and Goalscoring Awards, at both Club and Representative Level, before progressing, into Coaching the game i am passionate about.

I am now a Full Time Soccer/Football Coach with 25 years+ Experience Coaching at both Elite and Grassroots level, providing programs that suit the needs of the player.

Awarded a Churchill Fellowship in 2005 I spent 7 weeks in Uk studying football, spending time at a number of clubs in the UK including Premier League, Championship, 1st and 2nd Division and both English and Irish F.A. Working with both mainstream and disabled players, and also studying Academy structures at a number of leading clubs.

ALL COMMUNITIES PROJECT

The All Communities Project has now commenced and I will be running programs through the Football Federation. I will be working mainly with African Refugees, running programs with them.

ASIAN FOOTBALL CONFEDERATION `A` LICENSE

I have just completed part A of the A.F.C. `A` License at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra. After 2 hard weeks we were presented with our certificates at a Graduation Ceremony at the Institute.

ONSIDE PROGRAM BEGINS

I have now started the Onside Program for 2008, working closely with F.F.V. and Vicsrapid, the program has been designed to teach Intellectually Disabled students the finer arts of playing football, and the progression into mainstream clubs.

Program has commenced at Ballarat Specialist School and will link in with the Forest Rangers Soccer Club.

 

Football Crazy!!

FFA DEVELOPMENT

Small Sided Games have now commenced throughout the State and have been accepted extremely well. More touches of the ball, more decision making, defending, attacking, are just some of the benefits of this concept, its fantastic to see that Australia has now integrated the small sided games format into this country.

SSG have been running overseas for a number of years, and proved to be extremely beneficial in the development of young players. I have been an advocate of small sided games for a long time, and congratulate the F.F.A. on their inititive.
